Maybe the guy was lying from Letstalk rep said Cingular was going to drop 450 minute plan to 350 minutes and still charge same price. Anybody here anything on this? Cingular sure does seem shady compared to the no hassle Tmobile account I have had.
I know everybody is grandfather in but it is beginning to be a joke for the prices being charges for established technology.

Whats shady about cingular? No there not goin to change their plans. Thats like goin back to the old TDMA nation plans we used to offer. Its not gonna happen simply due to competition reasons, Cingular would lose out on alot of customers, but woudl raise ARPU!

So looks like the LetsTalk guy is shady. Tell me this - If I wanted to jump from Tmobile to Cingular would Cingular wave the activation fee and give me 300 texts for $2.99?
Going month to month with Tmoble and currently have 3 day weekends with 600 minutes a month for $39.99. Also have 300 txt messages for $2.99.
I know I get rollover minutes but still am losing 150 minutes a month to make up.
Thanks

My coverage is fine. The waiving the activation fee would be made up very quickly since The profit margin is so great on the monthly bills.
Amazing how a second party cell phone seller can give excellent deal but the source cannot.
I will stick with Tmobile.
thanks

If you are happy with tmobile than why switch?

Or did you come on here just to try and get a rise out of people.

I work for Cingular, but its just a job and a paycheck. Every time one of my friends asks me if they should go to Cingular I always ask them if they are happy with who they are with now, they say yes, and I say "so why leave?"

Honestly if I didn't work for Cingular I dont know who I would go with. Cingular has by far the best coverage, I guess it would come down to which phone I wanted though.

Okay,
T-Mobile gives 3 day weekends and 2.99 text. But they would have a hard time competing with the 7PM nights option. For a few dollars you could have an addional 3600 minutes to use each month. If you really do the math you will find that T-Mobile is more expensive than every carrier except Verizon. They also have the slowest data and the worst coverage. Maybe you don't have an issue with their coverage- Yet.

I forgot about one thing, they don't make you pay for anything you don't want to pay for but use.

Cingular will match that as soon as T-Mobile matches them in number of towers.
