C1500 missing network
I was getting the message "SERVICE UNAVAILABLE" and so I went to Cingular's site for help with phones. It said there should be an option on the menu to select the network, but where their instructions say Network, my phone says Worldphone instead.
I was told my phone was a Cingular locked phone when I bought it, but CINGULAR doesn't show up on the front screen.
Is there anything I can do to get this phone hooked up with Cingular? The previous owner claims it was working fine, and all other settings are set to Cingular... just doesn't seem to have any place where Network is selected or showing up.

did you select america?

Sorry... didn't realize that using a character cut off my message. My menu after CONNECTION:
1. World Phone
1. America
2. Europe
2. GPRS Attach
1. Power On
2. When Needed
3. Network Profile
4. Reset Network
I did the reset both here and at the master reset but nothing changed.
Yes, I selected America, and Power On, and verified that all the settings under Network Profile matched Cingular. I don't have anything under DNS though. Should I?
