Hey guys, is it possible to replace the glass protector on the front of the Pantech C300. I have one that has a scratch right through the middle and it isn't that its a big deal but if it was possible I would like to replace the piece.

If anyone knows is it possible firstly, and second, where would I get the piece?

Thanks in advance.

It probably is possible (as most parts of phones are replacable.

The price you'll pay will probably be steep though.. Try to find a store with a Cingy tech in it, or google for a cell repair center. I had a cust that wanted to replace the LED for a 2125, and the place priced it at about 130.

I can do the repairs myself oddly, I just have the hardest time finding parts for that particular phone. It isn't my phone and I haven't been able to tinker with it but it looks like I can get access to it. I am just wondering if there is anyone who knows where I can find parts for that particular model.

And some place quoted 130 dollars to replace a LED!? thats crazy.

It was for the 2125.. a rather pricey phone.. but I agree with you, it was up there.

Would you be able to take the piece off a dummy phone?

That could be a possibility, if you knew how to remove it without it cracking.

is the piece on the dummy the same material as the real deal? For some reason I suspect the dummy has a plastic window. altho its not uncommon that it would have the same (glass?) window. If that is the case I can get a dummy phone for free I believe. Hmmm, I don't think I had thought about that. I will have to see.

Anyone else have any ideas by chance?

Thanks again tho, that is a wicked good idea 😁
