RAZR price drop!
Starting tomorrow the razr drops 20.00 in the philly market (in stores only, not on website). The offer is good Oct 13-Nov 4.
What's your opinions on this??

my opinion on that is agent stores will lose their pants on a phone they hardly made anything on to begin with. Way to shaft the little man big C.

I'm in a higher income part of town and people still ask me for them. I keep my inventory low, because I hate them, but people want them! I tell them I have phones that do more and cost less, but people want the razr!

we keep em but were not pushing them like we used to. our new pushes are the cu500, and white d807. but we still get those 50 people a month that we just CANT steer away from the razr.

Whenever they say that I grumble then say "I have a few in the back, BUT we can get you the LG CU500 which has a better camera, faster processor, more memory, an mp3 player, faster internet, for the same price as the Razr and it's had fewer problems.

sounds to me like they have way too many of them in stock. Check inventory, I bet that's why. Plp are not buying them as much as they used to. IT A 2 YR OLD PHONE!!!

Ditto. SO TIRED OF THE RAZR, not even funny. If I see one more redneck, thug, or old person carrying one around, it's going to drive me nuts. You hear the story a hundred times...the guy at a kiosk in the mall "hooked me up wit a razr". I mean, the pone has issues when trying to handoff from cell sites, thus customers dropping a call! Not to mention, all of the customers who complain because there's dust in their screen as well as poor call quality or Motorola not honoring the warranty since you didn't buy a US version. So sick of the razr. It's about time to change the blades on the razr.

Nah, we actually have trouble keeping them in stock in my store. This is the first time we've had all three colors in stock at the same time in over a month.

Telesales has over 15000 units of each color. Shipments continue to come until late November, so this phone is not going to go away any time soon. I blame the RAZRs (all colors) for out poor variety of phone in our line up.
