Any chance Cingular will offer new plans with more minutes anytime soon?
...
Hard to say, because in my eyes, Cingular has taken an "unofficial" stance against anything unlimited (slight joke there, but also pretty true!).
I think 6000 minutes is probably the highest they will go, although I guess 10,000 isn't that far out there, and would seem to make sense.
But I say it's highly unlikely.
Then again, they did jump to 3,000 text messages...

i mean like for the 39.99 plan and such, add more minutes to those plans.

🤤 🤤
Why would they need to do that? If you need more minutes, go up to the next level. Most users are getting a big benefit of m2m, resulting in more minutes banked in the rollover.
Cingular doesn't need to compete with T-mobile on minutes. I had T-mobile 2 years ago most minutes were unused because the poor network coverage.
What good are hundreds of minutes if you can't use them?

the next plan up is 20.00 more

Are you going to use ~900 minutes in a month? If not, it never hurts to ask a CSR or a corporate store rep if there are any unadvertised rate plans that might better serve your needs.
I'm assuming that you are not currently a Cingular customer. How many minutes do you currently use in a month? How many do you think will be m2m and how many do you use between the hours 7pm to 9pm?
Adding the 7to7 option for $7 might move enough minutes to nights and weekend bucket.
