I need your help with a termination policy.
Guys, I've had the worst experince ever while working for Cingular. I had an irate customer come in the store and after trying to make my point across over all her name calling and threats; I pissed her off and she threw her 8125 at me and hit me in the cheast.
Now, my question is this. Do we really enforce our customer service abuse termination policy? That bitch threw that phone at me and left, the cops don't seem to mind. I bet if I had jumpped over the counter and beat her ass they had taken me to jail; and I would've lost my job. 😕
Since I couldn't defend myself I want to terminate her account ASAP. (call me crazy, but I'm just human and I crave some type of revenge) Having the 8125 thrown at your chest ****ing hurts!

have your store manager contact corporate security. or call your area sales manager...

Yes defintly need to alert your manager of this customer. Cingular willc cancel her contract it happens more than u think. The policy is there for a reason. I would cancel customer's account in a heartbeat. Then call them and tell them I did it.

Thank you guys for your answers. I asked because I always thought that Sprint enforced this policy more than the rest of the carriers. I've heard funny stories about customers being canceled on the spot when calling CSR's to curse them out. lol

Just be thankful you don't work for Starbucks. If a customer throws something at us we still have to apologize to them and kiss thier behinds and give them stuff for free...

I would also call the local PD and ask to speak to the shift supervisor or area Lt. (depending on now big the dept might be) and require that they file a report. Then I would contact the local D.A. and tell them you want to press charges for assault.
