Family Plan - East and West coast on same plan

Ready

May 23, 2006, 2:08 PM
I have heard there is going to be a convergence of the east and west markets so that you could have 2 members of a family on each coast and same billing. I heard it was supposed to happen on the 21st of May.

Does anyone know if that will happen or when it will happen if it is?

I need to add my mother to my plan but she is on the west coast and I am on the east coast. I know that I could give her an east coast number, but she wants an local number if possible.

Thanks.

all i know is that it will be possible to do so only if you enroll in a new family plan created specially for west to east.

Sorry, this is not possible at this time. There is no set date as to when or if it will happen.

The plan with national activations at this moment is this:

You can have two numbers with different area codes (different markets) on the same acct, but not on the same family plan.

My opinion: It's being worked towards to allow different area codes(markets) on the same family plan, but it's not available yet.
