TAKE THE W600!!!

worst case scenario, you leave AFTER trying the new phone, knowing it is in fact the service in your area, not your phones reception, SE does wonders with signal, so i'd say give it a shot, and that's an awesome upgrade too, normally they'd throw a 557 at you.

I work for Cingular> I am a store manager in the NYC market. if they offered you a w600 take it. allthough the razr sells like hotcakes it really is only an average phone where as the w600 is fantastic. Allthough the sony phones are a little tough to get used to for the average wireless customer, once you have mastered a sony (especially the s710 or w600) you will realize that they are fantastic phones. T-Mobile is a joke. they are years behind the 3 major carriers in terms of technology. There is a reason they offer such ridiculously cheap plans and have the highest customer turn over rate of out of the 4 major carriers. There network is inferior. especially to Cingulars

I have to respectfully disagree with your T-Mobile statement. (Mainly because you have over exagerated.) I do agree on two points: 1. T-Mobile's coverage is not a large as Cingular's. and 2. T-Mobile has not yet rolled out 3G.

However, T-Mobile's calling plans are better, and the call quality is better in the Chicago market than Cingular, plus Cingular seems to always have issues with thier handsets malfunctioning and so on. Plus T-Mobile has better customer service. But I am not saying that Cingular is bad. Cingular could be worse...i.e. they could be like Verizon... 😳

Look up sonething called JD Powers. It looks like the experts disagree. Who should we believe? A non-bias research company or someone like you trying to make a buck? Hmmmmmm. Thats a hard one.

JD POWERS, man they are so biased it not even funny, maybe you should take a look into them a bit further, they have been biased for years.

When is that last time you even saw their commercialk on TV , they used to flod tv with for Chrysler, etc..., except they stopped doing that, since people noticed the JD powers would do business with the company yhey were giving hight marks too! Including ATTWS a few years back.

Just like Cingulars new marketing campaign "Fewest Dropped Calls" Look into the "Leading Marketing Research Group" Cingular hired. Now thats a joke.

I work with a person that had a razr with the software issues. So she got the w600 and loves it better than the razr.

The only things I didn't like on the w666. oops! correction: w600:
Screen: Lame, not bright. Too small.
Keypad: Felt cheap and the color 🙄 (yuck)
T9: I prefer iTap over T9 anyday.

I left Cingular for T-mobile and its the best decision I ever made! T-mobile CS is WAY better than Cingular's and T-mobile has better converage than Cingular (at least that's the case where I live). Plus with T-mobile, I get more for my money.

I ahd both Tmobile and Cingular, Cingular now. Leaving T-Mobile was teh best idea i ever had. They screwed me up so much. My razr was screwing up with them so I got it replace through insurance, tell me why they kept telling me I had a Siemens phoen instead of my razr and kept sending me it even though I bought it from a corp store and had all the paper work to prove that i bought that phone. Not to mention T-Mobile sucks in the south. But I have had the w600 for 3 months now and I'm loving every minute I use it. I work for an agent under Cinguilar and i have sold over 40 of them and still no complaints. The only phone I'll replace the W600i with is the SE w810i when it comes out.

My opinion... start applying padding/bulletproofing/waterproofing/etc whatever you need to quit breaking phones. If T-Mobile bribes motorola into making THEIR phones stronger than the ones they make for cingular then id say go for it. But how likely is that?
