Insurance Question for Authorized Agents
I see a lot of authorized agents like myself that post on here.
I was just curious, do any of you guys offer your own in-store insurance policy?
My company does, and I was wondering if we were unique in this. I'm guessing we aren't, but I'd just like to know for sure.

The agent I used to run did, but they were fairly large so the pool made it cost effective. I own one store now so I just stick with what the carrier offers.

Wow, I'm surprised to see that no one else offers it.
Our company is comprised of 24 stores. We offer insurance for just about every phone, except for the PDA's, and the Treo, and the 8700.
The cost is $69.99 up front with the cost of the phone, covers the entire two years, and same policies apply. $50 deductible.
Tex, do you guys get commission from Cingular on insurance sales? Our company does not.
However we did just win Cingular's MVP for our market.
🤣

I worked for an agent that had a deal with NCOA for insurance on handsets, but the agent I work for now uses only Cingular insurance. We are looking into NCOA though.
