the policies and procedures in customer service have changed. The policy on upgrades credits adjustments and handset problems. To be more customer friendly and more align with what the customers want. The game has changed it used to be try to assist the customer but do not give anything away. Any opinions any feedback? will this help Cingular's customer satisfaction and reputation.

Those changes come from former ATT management who want The New Cingular to move up on ratings for customer satisfaction. Cingular has always been ranked lower than 4th place for years.

Customer care reps now could make a decition to provide more than $50 per year for whatever purposes.

As a former ATT customer, anything to make Cingular more like ATT was is a definitive improvement.

yeah, but if you look at the info that came out for blue reps, they are limited now to obly $200.00 max per account, before when the credit purses were open it was free for all no limit, now $200.00 or more for any reason must be escalated to your supervisor or manager.

is that effective even if its on cingulars part. such as a billing issue i had with them where my new minutes never re-started. i was charged overages for every minute in that month. my bill was $600.00 dollars 3 reps told me to pay it then they'd credit it back next month 🙄 . so i attempted to escalate but they pulled the old my sup isnt in i filled a callback form a few times no sup calls.

so i got a nice rep that saw what i was talkin about but since it was going on the 3rd month and i was still being billed the overages. she said wait till the next month so when this bill prints out so i can fix it. she did and $600.00 bucks in not my fault charges were fixed. would something like this only be credited up to $200.00 😕
