Where did you get it? I thought Cingular was releasing it 02/06/06. Did you buy it from a Cingular store or an independent agent? How much did you have to pay?

Actually, the Cingular version is a pink pastel, not magenta like T-Mobile's version.

Well if you want to get technical, on the box it says PINK, not magenta (which is actually TMobile). It's pink. Bubble Gum pink is the best way to describe it, just like another poster said. I was also under the impression that it would ALL be pink, but just the basic flat surfaces are pink. It still looks cool though.

my mistake guys n girls. it is more of a bubble gum pink and i actually had one in my hands today and its got a silver tint to it. the t-mobile magenta is the same way though with the coloring and it does have the silver keypad and inner screen. Ive also seen pics of a blue one that looks pretty bad-ass that is the same way but i don't think its available in the us.

I bought an unlocked blue Razr for my out-of-state twin sister, and when hers came she said it wasn't blue at all. All the packaging said blue, but she says it actually looks grey. It's darker than the silver Razr, but it's greyish, not blue. Maybe the lighter colors are more difficult to achieve with the process they use for coloring the material??

Does your pink Razr look pink, at all?

Nope. Good guess, though. That's what I thought, too. It's a blue V3. The pictures, including the one on the box, just depict it as much "bluer" than it actualy is. She still likes it. It's just not really blue.

Is that a serious question?

If a RAZR is UNLOCKED, of course it will work with Cingular.

Awwww guys dont be so mean 😢 ... Not everyone is a cell phone god (or goddess) 😉

It will work on cingulars network, BUT there might be a few things that dont work correctly (like media net, MMS, and AOL instant messenger) There are ways to get medianet and mms working, but it's a pain and cingular reps aren't too friendly when it comes to a phone from another carrier...

As long as the phone is GSM, unlocked, and supports at least 1900 band, in theory any phone meeting that criteria would be compatable. If you have the option look for a unlocked phone that supports 850/1900 as that will give you optimum reception. Usually however most euro phones are triband's skipping out on the 850 band. Problem is like a earlier poster said, its not going to have the cingular software on it like media net ext... If you feel confident in getting this fixed then i say go for it. I usually recommend though that unless your quit confortable with phone knowledge then stay away from unlocked phones. Unless you know someone personally that would set it up for you your going to have a hard time getting someone from cingular to he...
