hey can anyone help me?

Hey everyone, I am currently taking an economics class that has assigned me a project of my choice. I chose to find out what the best carrier in Los Angeles is (my home city) and whether or not sales correspond to the quality of service provided by all the major companies. I just wanted to know what everyone in Los Angeles thinks of both cingular's service and phone selection. Thanks for everyone's help!

man i hate school... but heres my 2 cents.

I've had cingular for a couple years now and i have to say that their service has drastically improved during the time i've had their service. When i first got them, they didnt seem to have much coverage in the hills or along some parts of the coast near LAX. Pretty much everywhere i go now, i have some kind of service.

as far as the phone selection goes, i think that they have an adequate selection. they need to stop releasing phones and then recalling them though. i think they should invest more money in testing the phones completely before they actually release them. they waste more money releasing the phones earlier because they have to return and refurbish them instead of just testing the...

You can also stop by a corporate store and ask them to bring up their MTI map tool. It will show you on a tower by tower / street to street view of the coverage available in any area. You can then ask them to give you a printout.

This can be used as a comparison to other local carriers. I don't know if they have the programs to show the maps. You will have to check with them.
