Cingular in NYC

I'm from the south and don't really ever hit a BIG city really other than places like Memphis, NOLA, or Jackson so Cingular is always badass, but I'm heading up to NYC for a week this saturday. I'm sure I won't be on the phone that much but was just wondering how the service is anyways in case of some freak emergency or for any other reason.

Great, I was worried about the volume of users more than anything, and not being able to get out. But I guess i had nothing to worry about anyways.

Most carriers transmitting 1900MHz freq have problems with in-building penetration, it's even worse when the tower is farther away...
