This just in!!

--------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------

Only reason I bring this into this forum is because it involves Cingulars parent companies.

So I have BLS realpages.com saved to my favorites, so how about when I just clicke on it this is what came up

The new YELLOWPAGES.COM combines the strenghts of three leading Internet Yellow Pages sites:

YELLOWPAGES.COM offers more content for consumers and more value for advertisers! Search for local businesses, find local information using our City Guides, and research products and services using our Consumer Guides.

If you have any questions about the new YELLOWPAGES.COM or about the joint venture between SBC and BellSouth, please con...

Nothing parsay, BUT I'm just sick of SBC getting everything and BELLSOUTH acting like the US in WWII, uh none of this stuff going on around us will have any effect on us, so we'll just keep to ourselves. Here's what I say should happen!!!!!!!!!

While this may seem like the natural course of action for some , I dont think it will happen it's just tooo much from a regulatory standpoint. Now let me inject one that no one is talking about BLS/QWEST(bellsouth purchases Qwest)!!! This would be much easier from a regulatory standpoint and fits BellSouth MO (they just dont lie down for anyone, period)!! Now if you're still with me, here's were it gets DEEP . If BLS purchases QWEST, look for either or (BLS or SBC) to make a leveraged buyout of th...

The very end, about the naming, sounds pretty farfetched. But the rest doesn't sound too far from the realm of possibility.

But while we are throwing far fetched things around, lets try this one; a little extension of your theory, just changing the names:

We all know that Vodafone wants a North American GSM network in the worst way. How about SBC buying out BLS's share in Cingular (now known as AT&T wireless, again) and Vodafone taking a buyout from Verizon. Then BLS and Vodafone go together to buyout T-Mobile and it becomes known as Vodafone.

Granted, that is very far-fetched, but you started it. 🤣 🤣 🤣

I like it actually, this way all the burden isnt on Cingular financially and they still have money left over to buy Qwest. However, there should be a new name completly....

How about VodaBell Wireless!?!?!? 😉

Or for choice sake

BellFone Wireless... huh wuch ya think?

They wouldn't want a different name because that way, Vodafone could claim total worldwide coverage.
