Big Phone Comparo - What's the Best

We're talking high-end mobiles here. The perameters are at or above $199.99 full srp. This means the 3220 is cut off and the e317 barely squeeks in. PDA's are also excluded. Basically, phones in concideration are, by price, the e317, v551, p207, 6230, v3, and s710. Post your opinion on what is the best phone and worst phone in your opinion. Make decisions based on price, durability, reception, style, os, capabilities, or anything else a consumer would be interested in. Now's the time to vouch for your favorite phone and knock your hated phone down a notch or two.

e317 is horrible. Always have a hard time hearing. The speaker scrambles and sounds distorted and very low volume. Dont get it.

ya, you could. you'll just have to make sure there's nothing else wrong with the phone that would be your fault (ie check the water mark under the battery

one, the speaker was tweaked and reworked, so its fine now. i'm assuming, and i could be wrong, that you're also a live and die moto man. Thats fine and dandy, but what does the v551 have above the e317, aside from bluetooth?

Here's to kick it off. I love the p207. If you've ever used the phone the first thing you notice is the phenominal screen. There is not a better screen on the market for a normal mobile phone. Period. Also, the vga camera is nice and get relatively clear pictures, better than that of the v3 but there may be one or two out there that are better. Also, the speech-to-text is a way suave extra, and is actualy quite accurate. Lastly, its got undeniable style.
My least favorite is the v551. Basically, the os on motorolas is my least favorite of any companies. also, the added cost over the e317 only gets you bluetooth and the outer display lacks quite a lot.

Favorite: Nokia 6230
I have carried nokias for the better part of a decade as a cell phone user. This one is great. nokia's tend to always have great rf and hold on to signals almost anywhere. The simple standard layout and uniform pop port and charger are helpful when switching phones. The sim card means I will never lose my numbers switching phones.
The bluetooth will sync to about anything with very little problems. The video recording is neat but I seldom use. Also the phone is quite durable as except against water.
The camera quality is the only drawback but I rarely use that. I wish it could handle email attachments though. (PDF's especially)

I hate all motorola's. You get a life of only about one year, if you are lu...

good choice. I love the 6230. The only thing i don't like about it is that it is not a flip. What can i say, the flips rub rub me in that special kind of way. I agree that moto's blow. Sanyo's are ok but they're wonder is limited. You could do anything those phones could with a moto, sammy, or nokia. Even an LG, which suck a lot. I like the Samsung os the most and feel it may even be better than the nokia os, but everyone is familiar with and likes the nokia os so i'm a minority.

Here is my two cents on the matter. The Moto RAZR is a good phone...great reception...and it also has a beautiful body design, but when it comes to the internal aspect and capabilities...lets just say Motorola needs to do some more compensating. Another Motorola candidate would be the the v551. The v551 does more that the RAZR but it is just to bulky and once again Motorola is just not keeping up with the software. It does not have the best screen and the reception sucks... but an ok phone. The P207 is great...amazing screen...ok reception. One particular batch had a bug but other thatn that the P207 ranks high. The 6230 is one of the best phones out there...Nokia takes more than just the cake when it comes to reception and user friendlines...
