Got a question here, ive had Cdma phones and gsm(cingular t mobile) and it seems to me that the gsm phone make all your elctronic stuff go nuts with the the gsm phones. like when you make or recieve a call or send a text message or even get on the wap browser. why is that?

GSM phones constantly download information form the carrier's network. The 850mhz band tends to create the most feedback on electronic devices especially modems.

I had that problem with my old CDMA Nokia, it would make my speakers fuzz and my monitor go nuts, but I havent had that problem very much with my gsm phones, maybe the GSM phones you use have a more powerfull radio, or the GSM tower in your area is further away than the CDMA one and it has to use more power when communicating with the tower, there are lots of reasons for this happening.

I have and CDMA and CDMA does create buzzing. But GSM 850MHZ is on another level it creates a loud at times disruptive sound. It can be really annoying I have had customers cancel their service due to the feedback. Cingular's feedback is the worst among all carriers including T-Mobile.

Cingular only has 1900 mhz in this area for now, that might be why I experienced more interference with my CDMA Nokia on Alltel, my RAZR does have some trouble on the speakers, but it is very subtle unlike my nokias, GSM and CDMA, CDMA caused the most by far though, so it might just be the difference in frequencies.

I like that. I can tell I'm getting a call like 4 seconds before the phone rings. LOL I must be in a 1900 MHz area cuz the buzzing is not that bad (in my house/room). But last weekend I when to vist a friend, he has his TV, VCR, DVD player, and computer in his room. Boy! Talking about buzzz! That thing was sooo loud. And the weird thing was that I didn't get a call, txt or anything. I guess it was just my phone communic...

Its annoying! It gets worst when you get closer to the device. While I was just typing my screen started to jump because of my phone. Is there a solution for this GSM problem? i never had that buzzing sounds caused my current nor past CDMA services.

Certain cheap computer speakers or amplifiers have no or little RF shielding... Also monitors phase in/out when receiving calls...
