Check Your Minute Feature?
I've head Cingular since last October, and everytime I try to check my minutes, it's always as least 2-3 days late, I didn't really care about that because it was that much big of deal. By calling the customer service or check my minute on the phone would only give me the same stats, so nothing helps really.
This month, the last call I see being recorded is made on 6/11, which is 2 weeks ago, and I've use the phone everyday since, so I don't really know what to say. My month ends on the 26th, so I've a feeling Cingular don't keep up the stats so the customers can over use the minutes and end up paying for the additional minutes they've used.
Anyone else using Cingular is ...

I understand no carrier is up to date with the usuage, but they're not outdated by 2 weeks either. It's just pretty ridiculous to be like that, and have customer feel they're doing it on purpose so they can get the customer to go over the limit.
Can't expect too much from a courtesy. What's the idiom? Something about a horse and his mouth....?

How do you think it's paid for then? Do you think the CEO of Cingular reaches into his pocket every month to pay the bills on the computers that tally up the numbers? The customer pays for everything. If they're a customer of Cingular, they're paying for it. You can maybe use that excuse on something where the government was handing out free phones, and the guy is complaining about it. Or if Cingular started smoking crack and gave everyone a phone good for 10 minutes/month. They're not paying for it then. But in this instence, he is paying.
Do you personally pay for the calculator or calendar in your phone? nope it is a default feature programmed in for free juts like the star ...

And if your area we have roaming partners who also provide portions of your coverage (depending on where in NC). When you use their network the minutes are not immediately reflected in your *min# feature.
You know, that would be a good reason to have Rollover minutes. Say you have a 400 min. plan. You use 300 minutes in that month, 100 of which aren't included in that bill, but will be in the next. You now have 200 in RO minutes. The next month, you use 350 min, but since T-Mobile took their sweet time to report your minutes, your bill says you used 450. It's ok now, since you have 200 in RO.
