what cell phone provider does everyone use here

Cingular... I do have two lines open with T-Mobile that two of my friends use...
I can't get them to come over to Cingular...

do your friends realise that tmobile for the most part uses the former att and current cingular wireless network, they honestly do not have many towers thesemselves, if i ever have a customer threaten to cance lbecasue they want to goto tmobile i alwasy remind them that there bascailly goig ot be using most of the same network

Not in South Mississippi... It was Digiph PCS (GSM) way before ATTWS or Cingular went GSM down here. They do not have the greatest of coverage, but just about everyone I know has them...

Yes but there are alot of companies that are smaller company like boost mobile, sun comm, tsmaller copanies who are big in certain states but not nationa wide i am not saying tmobile and cingular are the onl USA companies with gsm towers but nationwdie yes they are

Not necessarily. I know that for a fact because while I get EXCELLENT reception in my home with T-Mobile, my husband gets crappy signal, if at all, with his Cingular phone. It's a work phone so he's thinking of asking them to switch him to Verizon, since they have service with both companies. 😛 So, where I am, I KNOW there are T-Mobile towers.

yes in certai areas tmobile has more towers than cingular i am not saying cinguar is number 1 no matter where you are becasue that obviously not the case so in certain area tmobile is stronger than cingular withut a doubt a vice versa, but is alot of area tmobile has (roam agreements to get there customer there service )

I use Aliant, it is a regional CDMA carrier in Atlantic Canada, it is partly owned by Bell Canada.

in my opinion switching from rogers to sasktel would bel ike switching from cingular to verizon sasktel has better overall coverage but in city coverage between rogers and sastel is the exact same however sasktel has got some pretty bad selections of phone plus they operate of CDMA ( yuck)

I'm moving to Moose Jaw this Fall and Rogers has sh*t for coverage but STel has great coverage.

Oh gor its from working here that my resolve to not have a wireless phone is stregnthened, the last thing i need is to get a contract that bascially says "Yes you can **** me up that ass for a year.. what a free phone too sure get me for 2 yeas then".. No fricken thank you 🙄
