Aim won't work?

IM trying ot sign onto AIm on my go phone and its not working it says Username or Passowrd incorrect. Anything i need to set up before i can start using this feature because i just clicked on AIM and tried to sign on without setting up anything. I am using the Sony Ericsson T237 😁

problem solved. The password i had for AOl was too long to enter into my phone so i changed it and i logged right in.

Just remember the internet you are using now will delete time from your minute package. It doesn't work the same way as the regular monthly service. So keep that in mind.

No the AIM uses text messages not airtime nor kb's

On a GoPhone he will be charged according ro usage to equal the about of a text message which will be subtracted as minutes used

Yeah but it is just a text at $.10 each no kb charges and he said that he had not messaged anyone.

It did charge me, I went onto My Account on Cingular.com I got charged several times for something which is odd.

Imagine that???That's what I was trying to explain to you before someone chimmed in with there knowledge which was wrong.

You signed into AIM but did not message anyone.
If you signed in, a service was supplied to you.Therefore you got charged for something.

The way it is explaind in the brochures onthe charges is the way I explained it, so I am sorry if I was going off of the company's information 🤭

Doesn't the brochure give the information regarding using AIM on the post-paid service?

He/She has a GoPhone.

Every message you send or recieve is 0.10 each, and that will take away from the minutes you have remaining. Plus data charges.

Data charges? I was just on AIM not IMing anyone. Just sitting with it on looking at how it was set up. I did not messege anyone

Data charges are information transmitted to your phone. For instance, 1 small notepad of information like a notepad on a computer can equal 1.45mb of data space.

You were probably charged but it should be much if you didn't do anything else. Maybe $0.10 is about all you were charged.
