Captivate (again) or wait for new Holiday android release?
Had the captivate from Best Buy, returned it 3 times due to issues and just gave up on it & got my upgrade restriction lifted. Had all plans of getting the capivate again from at&t (best buy had a buggy batch apparently) but now im hearing rumors of a new android releases for the holiday (november time frame). Should I wait? I loved the captivate, but honestly no camera flash affects me. Your suggestions? Anyone have hints at what devices are forthcoming for droid?

I'm in the same boat as you. I'd say wait. I'm up for an upgrade in a month or so, and I'm going to wait until the holidays which is when AT&T puts out the really nice phone (except, you know, the iPhone) I def think that they have some good stuff under their sleeve for the holidays, so we'll see.
Many guys in here seem to love this phone (Captive) I just don't see myself buying a Samsung 😕 (no offense to the fans of this phone)

Agreed! I have tried a couple of Samsungs with ATT and they just wont work for me.

I was a little skeptical to get the captivate myself. I'm certainly not an expert when it comes to phones, but I can say that this phone is by far the best phone I've ever owned. The display is amazing. Not only do you have outstanding resolution (800x480) but the superAMOLOED screen has amazing contrast. I can go on for quite a while but I'll spare you the details. Even still I have to say you would probably be better off waiting for the holiday season.

The Internets that I am aware of are hyper-aware, a Jungle where anything anyone has said, implied or has been rumoured to have thought is posted forever, waiting for some ne'er-do-well to bring it back to the fore.
You're not the first person that I've mocked in these Hallowed Halls. You'll not be the last, and you're certainly not the most interesting. But, we work with the tools that we're given, and attempt to sculpt something interesting from it.
