But here is anothere problem. I need Treo 650 to use it here in US and on my trips to Europe. And I was told this morning, that even with unlocked Cingular Treo 650 I will not be able to use internet, e-mail, etc. over there because of Cingular software. So, is this true? What can I do to fix this?

There is a good possibility you won't. With any unlocked phones you may not be able to access the features because of the programming. Overseas you would have to call a company there or find some settings that would work.
