If you call asking for the office of the President, you will most likely be directed to the call center President/Director first.

Yeah, we do not provide direct numbers to the Office of The President... You have to follow proper escalation procedures. If you wish to complaint you can mail it to our correspondence department in Ocala, FL. The address is printed on page 2 of every bill.

If a rep transfers you directly to the OOP at Cingular they'll be disciplined up to and including termination...

even if they directly connected you to the escalation desk or provided you direct contact... The proper escalation procedures are followed at Cingular... And if reps are doing it... i would love to get some of their names.

I will say that you are lying on this one. NO customer care has the number to Corp. or to OOP. They do not give those numbers out. So, either you were put through to someone you THOUGHT was on that level, or you are just out and out lying about it. Even our internal employee locater does not have contact information for Stan Sigman. All other upper management info found in employee locater is proprietary information and cannot be given out under ANY circumstances. So, as you say, prove it to me. Prove to me you were put through to our Corp. headquarters or OOP.

well when i called up customer care i got the numbers. i know i did. its hard to prove that on here. but anyway i know i did. IR also gave me their numbers and same with the division for corp accounts.

The question isnt whether or not you got the numbers from Care. The question is what numbers did they give you?

I've had several customers who swore they were given the number to Cingular Tech Support (which has no number) but were actually referred directly to Nokia, Motorola, or (in one particular case) Exxon...yes, Exxon! If a customer catches a rep on a bad day, or badgers them enough for information they dont have, then some will give you false info just to get you off the phone.

Call those numbers again and ask where they are located, and make sure its not just a call center, store, or Cousin Bob.

i gave you the numbers i was given CS and IR gave me those numbers. i was just trying to help you shouldnt make a big deal out of it. why dont you just email that guy who i told you too or email IR.

I had the number to ATT Wireless back when I was a blue rep, but that number isnt even active anymore

Usually the people I talk to get worked up over a little thing. Usually over something dorky, like hold times. Really isnt worth it is it?

If we did our job, there is no reason to worry or care. Who are we to judge what is worth it to them?

I would think we would want to handle it on a more local level, which is most likely within our control.

And the OOP will judge accordingly. I just think it causes more issues when as a customer some CSR won't give the phone to his/her supervisor. The same applies if a customer wants that number. If you are allowed to or you have the number, why not?
