Love the last paragraph - it appears Apple's free ride is finally over. Basically every other problem with previous iPhones has always been blamed on ATT and they have gotten off without a scratch - now the truth is finally coming around. Both ATT and Apple are to blame - ATT for not planning ahead in regards to their network and Apple for basically putting out an iPod Touch with substandard phone components.

It seems to me that they are still passing the blame to at&t and not taking any responsibility with this response. Their selfrighteous attitude is starting to get on my nerves. Just admit that you suck at making a phone apple!! Other manufacturers do it better!

Shouldn't they have used AT&T's formula to calculate signal strength in the FIRST place? It's not like they work with any other carrier!

And the tone of mock-surprise and innocence is just hilarious.
