Quick Question Relating to my Lockline Thread

GinoA

Apr 19, 2005, 9:06 PM
Quick question.. I am going to call back and spaek to lockline. Now what would be my best bet to tell them, should I say I lost it, but I'm not going to get a police report, or should I say I dropped it in the pool, or that in broke in half (v400).

Also, would I most likely get a v551 since the v400 is discontinued?

THANKS!!

You might as well have asked "How can I commit fraud against LockLine?"

Well no its not fraud, because they would send me a replacement because of the 60 day rule. So i have to come up with an excuse, so technically its not a insurance fraud cuz my phone is really broken.

More like a V220, but only if they don't have any V400s...

a v220? Wow that is no where near comparable then, lol I think I'd rather stick with a broken v400 then a v220.

I got my v400 through lockline in augest.(1st claim) so does that mean the insurance for that phone goes until this augest? Or does it still count on my 1 year warrenty from Feb 2004?

Woops I meant, my 1 year warrenty. Will it go from Aug 2004 - Aug 2005. Or does my phone go from Feb 2004-Feb 2005?

Yes, they are comparable, but seeing as v220 isn't quad band, smaller screen, not as tft screen and those silly features then yes.

v551 on the other hand has an equavilant tft screen, quad band and everything else is the same except video capture and bluetooth, but bluetooth isnt all that exciting..

How'd you break your phone again? And call them up and tell them to replace it, you're paying for the ins. each month, aren't you?

I just had my V400 replaced and they sent me another V400. Guess they still have a some in stock.

I know, that 60 day period thing sucks!! Oh well I'll just go into a cingluar store and see what they could do for me. Hopefully its still under warenty.. I got this phone in Augest 2004 from Lockline, but started service with my orignal v400 in Feburary 2004..
