Text Messaging
I read on the VZW forum, that starting Apr 18th, they're getting Mobile to mobile text messaging.
Such as 9.99 for unlimited VZW to VZW texts and 250 non-VZW texts. Anyone think Cingular will follow suit?

Not that I know of. I don't think that Cingular will do the same. Too complicated. Also, it wouldn't be anything like unlimited. Cingular won't do Unlimited.

For real... Be happy you get unlimited M2M & Unlimited Nights/weekends. ATTWS used to offer Unlimited INCOMING messages, but cingular would NEVER offer that. They make a TON off SMS. Think about how fast 10 cents a msg can add up...

😕 good point... I have been waiting on an unlimited SMS feat for a while and it's like wishing for a unicorn. it'll never happen at cingular. as long as they can stay on topp without it. I mean it's too complicated, most companies won't put-out the effort to alter the billing system to compensate for it. VZW is only stepping it up out of desperation, but it IS a sweet gig, i'll give you that much.
