Can I turn data line into a phone line?
I bought a netbook last year for my mom, she never uses it, and of course, paying $60 a month in data for it. Is there a way I can essentially turn that service into a phone line without massive penalties?

yes. you would have to use a pre-owned phone or purchase one at no commitment pricing, but just place the sim from the data card into the phone and then call 611 to get your plan changed. happens all the time. ; )
