just a heads up. anyone who upgrades or activates a smartphone on or after September 6th will require a data package usually starting at $30. so if anyone is interested in getting a smartphone they might want to do it before this date to avoid that, if they dont want to have a data package. All our system will be updated and there will be no way to go around it. they say the reason why we are doing this is to avoid further usage charges from ocurring for people who gets charged but states they never use the internet, since its a smartphone sometimes it uses data without you being on the internet. this is going to be a big call driver and inconvience for us Customer service people to have to explain this. so just wanted to let people know ahe...

You should probably also post that anyone currently using a smartphone won't be able to take the internet package off after november 1st...that will be the real problem right there I guarantee it.

It can also be readded at anytime att sees fit.
