Horrible customer service. You ALL have just inspired me to transfer all my accounts to Verizon. Personal and professional. A rep in the store said this was a good site to get information. So far I have seen nothing but disrespectful individuals that work at AT&T who said they put customers on hold and make them wait, because they are upset and want a supervisor. Shame on all of you. Customer come here for information and this is what is said, they are called names and told to deal with it. Now I know why Tmoblie and Verizon are the ones I here always fighting over that customer service award. Shame on all of you.

i dont do this to all customer only to those to call in every day about the same issue and complain and complain and get upset when they are told something connot be done or a service is not available. if a service is not avialble supervior will just tell the same thing as a rep would so just stop complaing about mms on iphone you already know is not available till late summer so just wait and stop complaning

it's a huge back system mess to make MMS work:
when the iPhone data plans were created, they had a MMS restriction built into them BECAUSE Apple said they wouldn't support standard MMS...
to correct the issue, there are several things that have to be done:
1. create a new iPhone plan that doesn't have the restriction
2. audit the 5 million iPhone accounts and switch plans
3. audit the commissions system to keep all the reps from receiving charge-backs on those swapped plans
it's a huge freaking mess that could have been avoided if Apple had just put MMS on the iPhone from the start...like every other manufacturer in the world does with their equipment...

and ATT is the ONLY carrier that carries the iphone so no other provider would have mms either if they had the Iphone because when Apple released it the 3G that wasnt a function, its not because ATT wont let it be MMS capable thats how the phone was manufactured so if thats a problem you might wanna call 800myiphone and speak with apple. The only thing ATT can do is provision it in the system for the MMS to come thru but if the phone cant do it then it wont work

I think someone got more information then they bargained for. You learned alot, and you also found some disgruntled employees. Along with every company they are there. I guess you took it personally. If we ever talked face-to-face you would never know I had gripes about the fact that I greeted you warmly and you walked over the wall and ignored me, or if I tried to figure out the best phone/price for you but you ignore my questions, and when I ask if you have any questions in the future to call me you leave my business cards on the counter.

The service is horrible, The network sucks, and so does that customer services. Now as for sales. Well, I'm in sales. With AT&T, I understand you have to proved above average service cause of some survey that could be asked about you. So I would except a certain level of service, but you also understand that more money I spend the more money goes in your pocket. There idiots here don't realize that with out those customer calling in and complaining there would be no need for half of them. Plus, I read an article in the Journal that stated if it wasn't for Verizon turning down the apple device then no none of you would be working for AT&T. Hey, I had a at&t cell phone... it was a Motorola and that brand of phone sucks up the wazoo. Screw Motorola! I talked to a nice lady on at&t one time.. then I got lied to, they admitted they lied looked up in the notes and realized they lied. Asked them to tell me what Ashlee (took notes on last time I talked to customer service) said and they asked how I knew who I talked to last, I said pull up your notes, I know she took notes. They said well yes..... I said well what did she write, they read exactly what she said and wrote and still wouldn't help me.
The corporate store in my area has horrible turnover rate and they are all liars

What proof do you have that these people are employees - for all you know, they could be disgruntled ex-employees fired for the behaviors that you called out. I can easily point out 5-10 threads from every carriers forum on phonescoop in which people bash on customers. If someone trashes customers on the Verizon forum will you then go to T-Mobile? Before you pack up your service and hitch your wagon else where, you might try reading the other forums. Admittedly the open forums inspire a lot of tool bags to post, but it's the nature of the forum. Not everyone here is an AT&T rep. Those that say they are aren't always contracted by AT&T. If you go to the shoptalk forum, you'll see plenty of examples of other carriers reps doing horrible things. Not that this makes the AT&T Forum any better.
Granted, I'm half convinced this is just trolling, so I'm probably wasting my breath. Either way, PM me if you would like some slander free information.
I can't/won't tell you how to cheat the company or get out of an ETF however, so don't ask. đ
