If you travel, cingular is better.

Go with what your going to need more.

If it is the better plan for less money then I would say stay where you are.

If it is coverage (like dogear said) if you travel you would want Cingular.

You have to remember plans change all the time though and there is no telling what our plans will look like in a couple months.

Well if you live in the South Cingular is the best. Especially if you travel here and need any sort of data access. I travel all over many rural parts with my work and Cingular is the only one that has proven to be sufficient, but this is my opinion. Verizon is good in many place but data access, like wireless internet and email is non-existant. Sprint you can incur roaming charges or no service, T-mobile has no service in many areas. So for me it is an easy decision even though I believe their plans to be a little more pricey. But again you do get what you pay for.

👿 I hate to admit it but CINGULAR has a bitchin coverage area, as far as national coverage goes. Most times as well if you can make and receive calls your Data network will work as well, now all carriers can't say that; ahem T-Mobile 😈

I am so biased, but I would say Cingular all the way! I love the phones, the plans do come in handy if you are a varying user... I will not lie that T-Mobile's plan do look more "appetizing" but I have been with Cingular (as an employee for five years of these years) for 8 years, and never once had an issue... I have travelled up and down the east coast, as well as on the west in Las Vegas, and San Diego, and I have been to Chicago, and had no problems... BUT just as Shayby said, go with what works for you. Like I said, I am biased.

👿 I'm not if there is even one aspect of any of the companies that suck I will let you know! For instance our FT plans what was marketing thinking about. And that goes for the new Data plans too 😳

You know I think that T-Mobile besides from the Sidekick and some of their plans really have nothing on Cingular. I mean I've been with Cingular Wireless for over 6 Months and I love my service, my phone, the plans, the rollover has saved me from ever going over, I could go on and on. I do really like the Sidekick from T-Mobile and they have an Awesome plan for it for $29.99 for unlimited Text, E-mail, and Internet use but that's not including phone minutes. This sounds Awesome hoever the Coverage that T-Mobile has can't compare to Cingular's Coverage and also I was comparing our plans and this is what I compared...

Nation Individual Plans

T-Mobile
$39.99 for 600 Minutes Anytime and Unlimited Nights and Weekends

Cingular
$39.99 f...

You gotta problem with your family talk plans. T-mobile's price includes the 2nd line, with each additional line being $10. On that price plan, Cingular doesn't include an extra line, and each one is $20. So, it should be....(including the primary and 1 additional phone)

Family Talk Plans

T-Mobile
$49.99 for 500 Minutes Unlimited Nights And Weekend Minutes, Unlimited Mobile to Mobile

Cingular
$69.98 for 600 Rollover Anytime Minutes, Unlimited Nights and Weekends, Unlimited Mobile to Mobile

This will make the 2 plans "identical," with 2 lines.

If you decide to go with Cingular STAY AWAY FROM ORDERING ANYTHING OVER THE PHONE. The exchange policy is horrible.
