Iphone 3gs vrs Palm Pre
Pre beats iPhone 3GS in 2 of 3 speed tests
Do you know someone who has the need for speed? If so, they'd better get a Pre.
CNET recently conducted 3 speed tests in San Francisco among Pre, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G. Guess which phone won 2 of the 3 tests? Pre, of course.
CNET found Pre was fastest at loading a Web page. Pre users can browse the Web faster to get important information quickly and can load multiple pages with activity cards that let you truly multi-task.
Pre also won CNET's speed test for sending a picture message. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and the Pre gets the message across faster.
Saw it on Cnet, cant post a link right now because of work, will post later, or you can search

No one cares because we all know speeds depend on how many users are on a tower.
...
No one cares about sprint or the stupid pre.
...
and as soon as everyone went home and got away from a major road or highway the signal went POOF! 😲 😲 😲
🤣

Did anyone mention that sprint is bleeding at the seems and probably wont last much longer especially in their current state..Phonedog did a test I believe and showed the iPhone 3GS loading pages faster as well as moving through apps faster so now what? At least AT&T still own their towers and can be considered a cell company..Sprint rents their towers and no longer has any of their own. You know what that means? No quality standards=cell degradation. Verizon is getting the Pre in January so anyone that went to Sprint will soon be leaving hahaha 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
