I'm AT&T - but if I get an unlocked Nokia that has 900/1800/1900 Freq's (instead of 850/1800/1900) how much trouble am I potentially in regarding reception here in the states?

Most of my travel is Dallas - Chicago - Orlando and all areas in between.

Thnx

Look at the At&t map. Then look at the T-mobile map. You would be closer to t-mobile coverage.

All of the gsm coverage att offers is 850/1900. In florida its about a 50 50 split. above ocala and throughout the panhandle is 850 and the bottom being 1900 majority. not sure of the rest of the counry. I know in orlando that there are both frequencies so the phone would not work everywhere. you are better off not taking the risk if you dont have a way of finding out the specific areas of towers.
