iPhone crashing
Very frequently the phone crashes during everything from Internet browsing, myspace, mobile AP news reading, games, sports news etc. Phone will just close the program for no reason. Furthermore when talking to a person the phone will go black and you can't do anything other then talk can't even hang up the call.

Which software version do u have? You seem to have the problems the iphone 3g had when it first came out. There's been some software upgrades to fix all that you're experiencing. If you do have the latest version, call apple.

make sure you powercycle if apps crash to clear the memory, have you done that?

He means turn the phone all the way off(hold the top button until the red slider comes on the screen). once it has been off c coupls of seconds, turn it back on. The iPhone tends to build up alot of junk data if it is left on for an extended period of time. Generally, powercycling daily prevents the type of problems you described in your initial post.
