OK trying something different..

OK just trying something different. For at&t reps. What is one of the things that make you laugh or that annoys you that customers do... mine would be...

Whenever I ask them for their number to get into their account they say "I dont know, I dont call myself" lol 😛

Mine would have to be when a cust comes in and says something is wrong with their phone. I ask them when was the last time they turned it off or restarted it and they look at me like I'm an idiot and say never. I didn't know i had to turn it off...

For my HOME PHONE!!

Back in my Cingular days I got that alot due to the nature of the community that I was in.

Also I had an older couple and ask if we sold Singulair the allergy medication. 😳

When they come into my store and I ask "So what type of phone are you looking for?" and they reply " I don't know" and then I say, "well what features are important to you what do you want your phone to do? " and they reply, "I don't know"

It drives me bonkers.

Or

when a customer comes in and says, " I want a phone that gets great reception. Price isn't important I just want something that doesn't drop calls like my sh!tty samsung" And I say " well this motorola v9x is a great handset for reception. Its $179 after rebate with renewal. And of course they respond, "Wow thats expensive! Where's your all free phones?" And of course I say " well here's a samsung thats free after rebate" And to no suprise they say "great I'll take it."...

i love when people want me to check there account and i ask for phone number and they say 253xxxxxxx and then i ask for zip code and they say 253. then i say no i need ur zip code not area code and they say ya i know its 253. not maam its 5 digits. dumbass. lol

What annoyed me when I worked for WSC was when they'd get an out of warranty fee, then get pissed off about it, and are like, "The broken screen has nothing to do my dropped calls!" Idiots, huh?

I also love the ones when they come in about their phone and it has gotten wet and they say "oh my phone, its screen keeps going out, or my key pad was is not working" and i go..."Well the phone has gotten wet" and they go. "well its done that before it got wet" lol

Or When they come in and say "Yeah my phones not working" and I go ok well "whats it NOT doing" and they look at me and go "I dont know" haha


But yeah i so agree with the area code thing...haha i get that everyday.

Or, "I swabbed the inside with alcohol." Umm, anything that makes it turn red is out of warranty. Silly people!

When setting up a new post pay, I ask for their full social.

"You can't ask me that, it's illegal to ask me that."

I explain to them that their SSN is an essential key in credit verification. Some of them go as far as to give me a fake SSN. As if we don't really use it to run a credit check.

Or more likely because they know their credit is pretty bad. I have even had people come in and try to use their children's SSN. Pretty crappy parents, willing to screw up their little kid's credit.

I've had that happen once.

I can think of 3 things that bug me:

1. Me: Who's the name on the account?
Girl: Bob Smith
Me: Who's that?
Girl: My cousins, husbands, sisters, daughters, boyfriends, uncle.

2. What happened to all the free phones?

3. is this a Cingular store? 😈

The real problem is that customers make this job more difficult than it really is.

I hear about 6 times a day, "Ever since AT&T bought Cingular, I have more dropped calls"
