Should I return my Iphone?

New to the service and while it works well most of the time it does have issues with dropped call, screen freezes and internet connectivity problems. I bought it last week and it came with the newest software upgrade.
I am hearing news that the issue with Iphones is the Inferion Chipset. IF that's the case Im not sure I have a lot of faith in some sort of software fix for a hardware problem. I'm in no hurry. Should I just return it and wait it out?

I think returning it and getting into the new Blackberry Bold 9000 would be your best fix. Compare the two phones on here... You can't go wrong with blackberry been doin it for many more years then apple. The Bold kills the iphone...

I dunno, its better after the upgrade and besides what would I go back too? A blackberry? My brother recently got a N95 and I heard all these great things about it. Well played with it today and I am not impressed.... at all. Not very easy to use, screen blows. Sure the camera is 5 mp but I'm pretty happy with the Iphones camera results despite being 2mp(actually took a decent picture of a campfire @ night this weekend). Unless that Thunder is like the Iphone I'm just going to stick with the iphone i think. It just feels so much better when I use it then then other phones. I guess Im going to have faith in Job's promise to have everything cleaned up by September
