Moto V551 vs Nokia 6230

I have the V551 but don't think its the greatest. I like an OS to respond quicker to the touch of a button than the moto does. I've had nokias all my life before the V551 and am thinking about switching over to the 6230. Anyone had any bad experiences with the 6230? Also, i'm in the central/ne mississippi market if that makes a difference.

Thanks

Stores should be more than happy to order the phone for you, especially if you pay in advance. All of the upper end phones, including the 6230, are special order at my store due to their expense and to keep them from depreciating while sitting on a shelf. I always take orders for it with advance payment, and am very happy that the customer has done their own research before coming into a store.

Where are you located? I know it is available and has been in most markets for a while... I have nothing but great things to say about the 6230. I have been using it for about 4 months, actually to think of it, that's the longest I have used a phone for since I have started with the company besides my moto v60. If you have any questions, feel free to private message me and I can help you with just about anything on it.

I've also heard from a few Orange Sales reps that the nokia line doesn't hold a signal indoors as well as the moto, which has prompted some hesitation on my part. Is there any truth to this?

Thanks

Absolutely no truth.
Nokia has the best RF in the industry.
It will work better indoors than the motorola.

I'll agree with that. My Nokia 3589i holds a better signal than the supposed leader in CDMA technology...Samsung.

😎 I don't know about that, I like both companies but I think MOTOROLA is getting a little bit of a bum rap. My V400 and V551 get full signal strength even in my basement.

i have the 6230 and i am very happy with it, i also hade the v551 for a week before. and the v551 was a good phone, after testing both i felt the 6230 was worth the extra $50, and the reception i felt was better, not anything major, but enough to make a difference.

😕 It was a toss up for me between the V551 and 6230 but I chose the V551, and am very happy with it. I even get full bars in my basement. (It's the only place I can get any damn peace!)

Its not just the fact of it being nokia, its because, being brutally honest, flip phones 90% are crap, for reception, you gotta remember, thatif you took the top flip and the bottom flip, and removed the hinges, you would see they have jack all space to put things like actual antannaae hardware.

You gotta pack all this stuff into those little flip sections- the bling bling like smartphone ...
