I have the V551 but don't think its the greatest. I like an OS to respond quicker to the touch of a button than the moto does. I've had nokias all my life before the V551 and am thinking about switching over to the 6230. Anyone had any bad experiences with the 6230? Also, i'm in the central/ne mississippi market if that makes a difference.
Thanks
Yeah im in the same boat with ya..I like my V551 but was thinking of taking a look into the Nokia 6230 also, because I've used Nokias all my life too. Hope someone has some good info on the 6230. I was going to buy the 6230 a couple months ago, but my store doesnt have it in yet. They have the dummy model and its been on Cingular's website ...

Where are you located? I know it is available and has been in most markets for a while... I have nothing but great things to say about the 6230. I have been using it for about 4 months, actually to think of it, that's the longest I have used a phone for since I have started with the company besides my moto v60. If you have any questions, feel free to private message me and I can help you with just about anything on it.

Not what sure market im in but my location(s):
Johnson City, TN Zipcode: 37604
Greeneville, TN Zipcode: 37743
Those are the 2 main areas that I use my phones.

I've also heard from a few Orange Sales reps that the nokia line doesn't hold a signal indoors as well as the moto, which has prompted some hesitation on my part. Is there any truth to this?
Thanks
Absolutely no truth.
Nokia has the best RF in the industry.
It will work better indoors than the motorola.

I have 2 customers who are hustband and wife one has the Z500(husband) the other one has the 6230 Nokia(Wife) the wife can walk all around the house and get at least 2 bars signal the husband we had to get a fast forward devise for so he could still recieve calls indoors
This is why i favor the nokia
Its not just the fact of it being nokia, its because, being brutally honest, flip phones 90% are crap, for reception, you gotta remember, thatif you took the top flip and the bottom flip, and removed the hinges, you would see they have jack all space to put things like actual antannaae hardware.
You gotta pack all this stuff into those little flip sections- the bling bling like smartphone ...
