Question/Advice on the Blackberry 8110

OutFromOutWhere

I currently own the Sync but looking at getting the 8110. Can the 8110 have windows mobile installed on it? or should I go with the blackjack 2? Also, is it a huge disadvantage to get the 8110 because it does not have 3g? Any opinions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

i aggree i have the pearl one i dont remember the number though(8100) i think but i love it. even though its not 3G i still get great quality of service with mine. i also run an old LG CU500 thats 3G and in the areas that i am the most i have not seen a big difference in the EDGE or 3G on the two. unless you are a diehard windows mobile fan go for the Blackberry its just such a better phone.

I just got the Pearl 8110 and I used to have the 8100. The question I have is on the 8110 the contacts are displayed doubled space where on the 8100 they were just listed right one right after the other. Is there a way to change this? It seems like it is a lot of wasted space and it makes scrolling through my contacts list a bit of a pain.

First thing is do you live in a good 3G area?? and if you want windows mobile you might as well get a Black Jack 2. No point in having a blackberry if you wanna run windows mobile. But yea if you live in a good 3g area go with the BlkJack2 and if windows mobile is very important to you, you might as well get the blkjack
