I was thinking about updating my current 8300 curve right now to a new pda .Just want some reps opion on the current lineup and what would be my best bang for my buck for a new device.I email and text alot from my curve.Blackberry is the best email device,I have ever had ,but I don't know if I should just wait for the next generation of rim devices to come out.Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

wait....

the new blackberry 9000 series should be coming pretty soon. or the vu looks pretty cool i dont know about lg and a pda type phone but..

dont ever get a duo its horrible horrible phone i have sold 20 in the last two months and 15 or so have come back with issues freezing up or the slide sticks.

tilt is ok but im not a huge windows mobile fan.
blackjack is a dumb down version of the tilt.

so ur left with blackberry which is my bias opinion (since i own 1) i think blackberry is the best overall pda out there. i can do anything with my 8310 that my boss can do with his tilt other than streaming video.

hope this helps

Its between the Curve and Iphone whichever you can afford. They are the best.

If you've been happy with your 8300, I would suggest either the 8310 Curve or wait to see what RIM's next offering would be. Another PDA to consider if you like Windows Mobile is the Motorola Q9.
Excellent built quality and is one of the very best I've used for signal strenth and voice quality.

Ty all for the information .I have tried the Q the build quality is nice and I like the way it feels. But with reference to a new blackberry coming soon I'am going to wait for the 9000 series to come out .Ty again for all the input. This forum is very helpful to consumers.I know were to come now for information in the mobile world of ever changing electronics.

I love my iPhone, especially since I'm running the beta and have Exchange sync support, but I may have to try out the new BB 9000... Blackberry's are smooth running...

The 9000 will be out in July with an OS to rival WM6. Then later on they will have a phone with touchscreen.

where is your vaildation on that .... blackberry has NO reason to put a 9000 out this early in the year ... we haven't gotten a full year out of the 8310 nor the 8820 and we just had the 8110 come out weeks ago .....

along with the 8320 on the way

so u my friend are just starting rumors that isn't gonna happen ....

prove or ban LoL

Im not sure if the new OS 4.6 will be the July date or the actual 9000 phone but I saw it on Crackberry who got it from Boy Genius. I sure dont want to get banned.

My oppinion is the Treo 680 or as a matter of fact any Palm OS PDA or "Smart Phones". The main reason though they don't have all that flash and fancy programs and screen is that Palm OS can easily be synced with window and linux OS run machines.

Either the Tilt or the Curve. My wife has a Curve which was mine but I gave it to her, and she loves it; but I have a Tilt, which does everything that I want, and more. I may get a curve as a backup or second line just to see what all the hype is, as I never got to use it to its full potential.
