my friend wants to know if there are any free gps services to download for the b-berry 8310.

There is something called AmazeGPS (AmazeGPS.com) which is a fully functioning voice guided GPS software suite that I think works great. You do however have to have Internet connectivity to use it as it pulls the maps off of a server as needed. It is just like the TeleNav that ATT offers but this one is FREE!!!.... 😁
