At&t signal in my house sucks - Milwaukee

Has anyone else had issues with their phones not working once they get into their house. I live in the Milwaukee area and I have a great signal down the street, and as soon as I get in my house - dead!

My contract is up in a few days and I was thinking about switching over to US Cellular as a lot of people in this area have similar issues and have switched also (US Cellular works in houses). I am not sure if getting a newer phone will have better/stronger software or what. I don't claim to know anything about the phones, therefore why I am here.

If you don't have signal in your own home, it's probably not a good idea to be with AT&T then. You go with a carrier based on where you use your phone the most, and I would imagine that your home would be one of those places. So my advice to you would be to drop AT&T and test out some other carriers that get better signal in your home!

I've also had good luck with T-Mobile, which was my first cellphone provider... switched because of better coverage by (then) Cingular in southern Wisconsin.

Interestingly enough, one of my good friends used to be a Sprint customer but is also with AT&T these days. When he was with Sprint, he'd hardly ever have a good, reliable connection whenever he was at his parents' home in Greendale; I...
