considering att...question about service and the BB curve!

For those of you that have experience with the BB curve, how do you like the voice quality when compared with other att phones you have used?

I love verizon, but I am really getting tired of my phone not working at my house and they might let me out of my contract to try another carrier.

So I need to know...

1. How do you like the voice quality of the curve?

2. Any verizon converts have pros/cons about switching?

I know a lot about both carriers and I have read the review, but just wanted to get as many opinions as possible.

Thanks for your responses

1. The voice quality, imho, is outstanding on the Curve.

2. I've never had Verizon, so I cannot answer this one.

I use at&t in the Dallas/FW area, and I've never had any issues with coverage.

Keep in mind, at&t does have a 30 day cancelation policy, if you do change your mind.

Hi

My name is chainsaw and I am a junky, a phone a holic, but I am cured now that I use the curve.

Seriously, I have gone through so many phones, while some had good cameras they had poor call quality and others vice versa. Seriously, the curve has the best voice quality I have ever experienced and the speaker phone is amazing.

The only thing I have had happen is sometimes the radio randomnly shuts off leaving me without service. The is sporatic and have heard of it a couple other times. But the phone is under a 1 year warranty so it shouldn't be an issue to concern yourself with.

It probably does, but every now and then I ill look and it says off or sos. I always just try and make a call and it turns itself back on. Next time I see its off I'll leave it and see if it fixes itself.

Are you guys talking about Fm radio, or the gsm radio transmitter? My bf has not had any problems with this thing. As a matter of fact, I now HATE it! I feel like "the other" ever since that thing came between us! :@

I have no issues with voice quality on my Curve. No one has mentioned anything sounding funny when I talk to people from it, and from my end everyone sounds fine. The speaker phone volume is really nice and loud. I love my ATT Curve - not one complaint. I have had a ton of phones. I am very, very picky!!

GSM radio. Its happened to me a couple of times and I've had a few customers talk of it as well.

I totally agree. This is the best phone I've ever had. It's funny, when I tell all of my customers that, they look at me like I'm trying to pull a fast one. I've had mine for over 6 months, which is probably the longest I've had any phone.

You won't be disappointed.
