Cellular One to AT&T

I worked for AT&T for a year and a half before moving to Pennsylvania. I was lucky enough to remain in the wireless industry by getting a job at a Cellular One dealer. During the interview, I was told that AT&T had bought Cell One. I had read about the AT&T/Dobson deal, but was unaware that Dobson was Cell One. I am happy about the change because I have an advantage over the other Cell One reps in the area. We went to a training on the migration and the trainer knew that I had worked for AT&T. She did not know more than what they had taught her at her own training so she asked me for verification on just about everything.

Well the websites are gone now!! Both the CellularOne site and the Dobson.net!! So that means that all new activations will have to be AT&T . . .

Just one question though, hardcorehavoc. Will AT&T be retaining Cellular One's unlimited minutes plan, or no?

Yes and no. If you already have it, you can keep it. However, you will eventually have to switch to AT&T and once you do, you will have to get an AT&T plan. AT&T does NOT have an unlimited plan. No national carrier does.
