switching to att, any recommendations for phones
i am switching from verizon to att. any phone recommendations. i don't need all bells and whistles. i was looking at razrvxx,nokia6055,samsung717 as possibles. any input is appreciated. oh yeah, i'm a new member to this forum. been reading for some time. but just joined recently. i'm glad i found it.

The Nokia 6555 is a good, all round phone. We find that Nokias, as a general rule, pick up better than any other brand.

Agreed on that one. THe 6555 has been pretty popular lately. I personally really like the Sony 580.

I second that! I have had Nokia since 1999 - my husband tried one LG and quickly went back to Nokia. My family members all had Motos on VZ and they all stunk - so I don't know if it is phone or carrier or combo but I love my ATT with Nokia! I just got the 6555 and so far I LOVE it! 🙂 I will post a review once I've had it for a week and got a real feel for it.

well, i did it and got the nokia 6555, pretty cool phone, still trying to figure it out. i should have looked in these forums about online dealers. what a disaster i had, finally went to store and got this one w/o any problems. i could start a whole new thread about the issues i had w/an online retailer....
