I am currently a CDMA customer. But I am thinking to switching to Cingular next month. I have been to our local Cingular store here Gainesville, Fl. 32614. The sales person I spoke to here wasn't very acknowledgeable of the service here in north central fl. Can anybody tell me if Cingular has "overlaping coverage" from Lake City to Gainesville to Ocala to Orlando to Cape Caneveral, all these cities are all here in central part of Fl. Tower locations on a map do not do me any good. Who know when those maps were last updated?
Now I believe that Cingular probably a lot of the limted T-Mobile towers(because there so few of T-M towers) and T-Mobile would probably like to use as many Cingular towers that they would allow them to use.

I'm in North Carolina, but I travel to the central part of Florida where you are talking about. According to the MTI map tool (which is a tool for agents) there is great Cingular coverage throughout the areas you are talking about. In Lake City, you should have coverage, but it will be T-Mobile service. If you want to post your e-mail address, I can send you a couple of map pictures for your reference...
