We've never carried audiovox and I doubt we ever will. I've never used one, but there's obviously a black flag against them somewhere.

Like I said, I have no experience with audiovox. Not even their home appliances. Personally I kind of do hope the MPx220 bombs out since Best Buy has the exclusive privaledge to sell it for a bit more. They've stolen enough of my sales as it is that I feel they deserve a little pain.

I can't remember what company you're with right now, but we were just supplied a list of what ATT stores have in inventory and it looks like you can get the Audiovox SMT 5600 from them. If you can get them to unlock it, drop me an email and I'll get you the settings so it'll work right.

When push to talk becomes available first quarter of 2005, we can also add the v400p. It has been and is being tested as we speak. You can check it out at motorola.com. It looks just like the current V400, with some cosmetic differences.

One major thing in what phones are in the list, the number of flip phones that aren't, just one was there, the Sony Ericsson Z500.

I find it hard to believe that we will only see one flip style phone coming out in the first several weeks. Then again, don't expect Cingular to let much info on new phones coming until a formal announcement, now aimed for November 15th.

Let's face it, flip phones are in style, look how many Verizon carried when they were #1. Cingular will be sure to have several new ones within days of the new company.

I'm a bit confused by what you said... are you concerned about there being a lack of bar style phones? Also, the Z500 is a flip phone. I'm not sure exactly what you were implying by the wording.

If it's the exact opposite and you're concerned about their being a lack of flip phones, then I should point out that the V551, V3, and likely the Samsung C207 (haven't seen it yet) are flip phones which we will be adding to our current selection which is primarily dominated by flip phones at the moment.

It's a big lack in flip phones. A couple new flip models from Cingular will far from impress AT&T customers to migrate over sooner.

Cingular has had plenty of time to acquire a wide selection of flip phones, similar to Verizon's offering, and according to newcingular.com, the phones (and services) will be the best out there.

We won't be disappointed, we can be sure that Cingular won't want to lose any of it's 46 million customers, just because it lacks some awesome phones, that's the least they can offer customers (new and existing alike.)

right now cingular has 9 filp phones, with 4 coming out before Christmas, 2 more shortly after that. That's 15 flips, how many are we supposed to have?

So all 9 flip phones that Cingular has now will not be discontinued and replaced with other newer models anytime soon? Since we're going to have 4 flip phones coming out before Christmas, which ones are they?

The number of phones one thing, but could you explain what you mean as to what kind and models they actually are.

v3, s710a, z500a, v551, a630, cf63, p777; all these are flip form factor and will be out at christmas or shortly after. Before Christams, z500a, v3, v551, s710a. after, cf63, p777, a630. the v400 is not leaving right away. it will be priced under the v551 for a short period of time. do your research. 😁
