In my case I CAN afford to buy one, I am just not STUPID enough to buy one. Putting 600 bucks down on a phone that will break if you drop it ONCE ( and you get ZERO insurance) is just dumb.
I'd rather use my 600 bucks to 1. pay my mortgage. 2. Pay my car payment. 3. ...

And he dropped it on a mat, most people drop their phones on CEMENT or hard floors. Cement is most common because of sidewalks. So that "demonstration" is not solid proof. But I have an idea. Go run out, buy an iPhone and drop it on the sidewalk several times and make a video for U Tube.

You keep calling people "stupid" for purchasing the iPhone, yet you continue to thoroughly demonstrate your own ignorance again and again. If the device is not your cup of tea, get on with your life. Does it make you feel better disparaging others because you feel they dropped some money on something you don't value? Like pictor stated, people spend incredible amounts of money on NASCAR, I wouldn't spend 5 bucks on it, but I am not on a campaign to tell them all they are idiots. It is their prerogative.
