3G in Denver, Colorado?!?!?!?
Okay, don't get me wrong, I love cingular, but it is May of 2007 and I have yet to see 3G come to Denver, CO. Both Sprint and Verizon have it here, can' t figure out what Cingular is waiting for....Any ideas when this may come to Denver?

I've heard that it will be officially launched by 01/01/08. That was a while back though. I'm sure it's about to be lit up.

A friend Of mine has cingualar and a 3g phone, so you figure if there releasing these phones there should be service in the area capable of 3G data?

They sell the 3G phones here, just not the service to go along with it...LOL. But I did talk to a At&T preson and they said that the network is ready but just waiting to get the FCC approval to "turn it on" here in Denver. which I just find silly, since it has rolled out other places.

But CINGULAR, now the new AT&T sells the 3G phones in all markets so that once it is turned on, the people will have phones that can support it. All other carriers do the same thing.
Verizons VCAST phones were sold and still are sold in old 1xRTT markets. It makes perfect sense.

I have heard that with the Cingular to AT&T action, the 3G "project" in Denver has been put on indefinite hold. I have no idea when it will be taken of of hold or if that source was reliable but I am not holding my breath.

Opps, I forgot to say. DO NOT BELIEVE what a phone sales person tells you about anything that has NOT been implemented....there is NO accountability out there and what ever it takes to sell you a product is what ever they want to tell you. 👿 Sad but definetly not new.

I am sitting here in Honolulu and was told 3G was being turned on the first of the year and still nothing. I have no idea what the hold up is. I hope it will be turned on soon. i need the speed.

Ok Talked to Cingular Rep today... they saying Late 3rd qtr. So end of summer or fall. I am In Denver... Just switched From Sprint To Cingular. (att) So I hope they get the 3G on Here soon In Denver, Because i was so use to it with Sprints EVDO Network. But I can wait.....

Third quarter 2007 was correct. I was in a cingular store today and they said it is scheduled for October for us here in Denver.
