Verizon to Cingular and back to Verizon, maybe?

I have written the below post a least twice, thinking somebody could give some answer to the below questions. Or if nobody on this forum has the "answers", I'll wait for the Consumer's Report febuary issue to come out.
I do need coverage in both the listed places I mentioned.
Here is the original post:


I am currently an Verizon customer who's 1 year contract expires 1/05. Though I like Verizon's coverage, they lack choice of newer phones, less minutes on their America's Choice, lousy signal inside of some local buildings.
Attws is out of the question. I would like to know who has better coverage in north central florida(Gainsville, Ocala, Lakeland, and Orlando Florida and Long Island, New York)
I need to kmow who has bette...

The probable reason why no one has answered your questions is because no one has the answers you seek. That last post you posted isn't exactly appropriate, you insinuate to an extent that we're purposely ignoring you and that isn't the case. It's either we don't know or people who do know are here to see your question.

I know I have seen information you would be interested in in other forums. Try HowardForums.com, try other parts of this forum. The other which I would try first is WirelessAdvisor.com Good luck. 🙂

i don't know firsthand, but my customers who travel to florida tell me their phones work great down there. I know for a fact that they work fine in Ocala and Orlando. The others should be covered very wel...

Yeah I agree, anywhere in the south you are not going to have a problem with cingular...its mostly Bellsouth/SBC territory down here; and Connecticut.

not true there are alot of dead spots in south Ga unfortunatly if you look at the map you will see but Fl and SC are pretty well covered
