i get alot of phoen who complain about deposits one guy tells me he paid 800 dollars for his i dont believe so my question is whats cingulars lowest deposit and highest.

I have seen deposits as low as $100 and as high as $800 during the past 6 months. In my career I have seen deposits as high as $1,500.

The amount exists, if he was stupid enough to pay it is another question.

the lowest is obviously no deposit, and the highest i've seen was $750, usually $500 is the max, but for the poeple with really bad credit it can go higher.....

In addition to the carrier deposit, there are also some agents that will collect a deposit before providing service.

Don't forget about Cingular's "You still owe us from a year ago" deposit of $800. I've heard some people mention that it goes to $1000 in some markets.

Well if you have a deposit that it so much to pay my advice is to not get a phone and build your credit first anyways. i mean if your credit is bad enough to have a 1000 deposite then you probably shouldn't have a phone anyways. That would tell me that you owe someone money and that should be top priority. i have worked at Cingular for about a year now and i have never seen a 18 year old kid with no credit at all have a 1000 deposit, period. It just dosent happen. 99% of the time it will be 500$ to someone with no credit. Pay it and then in a year you'll get it back anyways. People shouldn't worry about a cell phone deposit, how are people with $1000 phone deposits going to ever buy a house?! That should be what people worry about. Thats jus...
