Hopefully I am understanding this correctly...
I have windows live on my Cingy 8525, and I looked under the settings and there has this tab that says no GPS, but if you scroll over you can find COM1 thru COM9...so I am assuming you can use a GPS receiver with windows live? Is this correct?

I know you can use a Bluetooth GPS receiver with an 8525. With that particlar app I am not certain but I would expect it to work.

well there was a tab to move it from non gps to com, so i guess i will have to see...I don't know why they just don't build it in.

Yes but I just really want to know if i buy a gps receiver, that it can work with windows live, because it looks like it can make that connection, and yes the HP phones do have it built in but i like the set up of the HTC and TREOs and they don't have it which i think its odd.

telenav will work with most windows devices. Even some regular phones will work with telenav. I know it will work 100% with the 8525, I saw it at a roadshow. the service is cheap.

Yes I know about telenav, but will a GPS receiver work with Windows live Search, that I have downloaded to my 8525? That is the question that I would liked answered.
