Save/Cancellation calls..
I work for ATTWS Save Team and I just thought I would let all the CC reps know that if a cust orders online, at a store, through an indirect dealer, anywhere EXCEPT DMDR..we do not cancel them, we send them right back to CC. Please look at the POS for these custs. If it says anything except Direct Marketing/Direct Response in Siebel or ATTWS Owned Stores with a sales reps name in the service detail window in Axys..its not someone we can cancel. If it is a vendor, give them the number to that vendor to call..if its web, CC cancels these..same as store purchases. Just wanted to let everyone know, it is really irritating to take 50 calls a day and 45 of them be misdirects from care..and then custs complain when we are in queue for over an h...

Since you work for the 'save' team...
What is the best deal you are authorized to give me to save me as a customer? I'm out of contract and using a very old peice of equipment. (GSM).
(I'm eyeing Sprint's Fair and Flexible plan with the TREO, unlimited data is only $15.00 per month. or T-Mobile's sidekick.)

It's not that kind of save team, they handle calls regarding new activations who are trying to cxl in first 30 days of service. You should call to Customer we dont Care, oops I mean Customer Care.

if you want unlim data, you will probably have no choice but sprint or t-mo. care might be able to get you a good deal on a new phone (w/a new 2 yr contract) but i don't think they can do much to budge the $80 per month for unlim data on the mmmode plans.
and as for the saves team, they are a special dept for new custs within the their first 30 days.
